I just wanted to give a shout out to a talented filmmaker that I have known for many years, Sarah Spillane.
Her latest movie, Around the Block, is now available to rent and buy. The film stars Christina Ricci and centers on the friendship between an unconventional American drama teacher Dino Chalmers, and Liam, a sixteen-year-old Australian-Aboriginal Boy during the 2004 Redfern riots.
Around the Block is the second feature film written and directed by Sarah. Expect many more in the future!
