On September 14 Vice President Joe Biden reiterated his support for gay marriage in a speech at Senator Tom Harken’s (D-Iowa) annual steak-fry fundraiser. According to a published article, Biden said, “Gay rights is the civil rights of our day; it’s the issue of our day.”
As a gay American who is also a very active LGBT activist, I say thank you, Vice President Biden for speaking out. We appreciate your support.
